The Community Empowerment Committee partners with public organizations, political leaders, and advocacy initiatives to promote civic engagement and give everyone an opportunity to fight for socioeconomic justice. We organize a broad set of programs to build close communities, encourage leadership, and support progressive policy.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

  • Our programs are intended to give participants a passion, tools, information, and network to make powerful changes in their communities and practice self-love

  • We form strong partnerships with government programs, including youth bureaus and county legislators, to ensure that our projects are informed by political events.

  • Community empowerment can take many shapes and forms, so our programs are typically self-paced and conversation-based.
